How often that artist would demand their art to be removed on danbooru? Should I avoid that kind of situation in the future?

I feel a little guilty when I posted some of the art here only to find out the line 'do not repost' later on. While I think it wasn't a common occurrence (maybe I was wrong) I was wondering if I should avoid posting art from those who warned not to repost their art again since I don't want to get into any potential trouble with them.

Btw I'm a little curious how often the Japanese artists knew about the existence of this site, did any of them ever feel interested in danbooru or most just feel angry about it?

Kinda a vague and trivial question, I rarely asked a big question like this but this curiosity had been in my head for quite sometime.

Danbooru became more well-known among artists thanks to the AI training debacle, but not by very much. I’d say the majority of artists still don’t know about it or we’d receive a ton more DMCAs.

Danbooru is part of global internet culture, I think if the artist isn't too young and exclusively browse Japanese stuff, they probably heard about it or other boorus.

AI aside, I'd say the artists in general that I see angrily tweeting that they found or were told that their works were here don't value or don't know what it is, that it helps to backup, categorize and search your artworks better than other imageboards and art platforms, and even helps prevent social media reposters from claiming your art as their own because people can trace the images back to you.

I think this topic has served its purpose already.
