any guidelines for artistic, not artist, style?

Posted under General

I read the tagging guidelines at
howto:tag_checklist

but didn’t see an answer to my question.

Im wondering if there is a generally recognized high level naming standard for the major categories of anime art.
I’m not even sure of the right words to use, so i’ll give some usage examples:

80s style hand drawn cell animation.
vs
manga line art
vs
high detailed colored manga
vs
realistically drawn manga

then there’s things like finely inked outlines, vs thick inked, vs no outlining at all.

and probably some other general artistic terms i don’t even know about.

It would be really cool if there are pre-existing non mandatory danbooru tag standards for this stuff. But if not, the just knowing what the recognized standards are, would be appreciated.

Try looking in tag groups under Image Composition and Style (the very first list on the page). The ones most relevant to your question would be tag group:image composition and list of style parodies. Many of the tags have wikis that will help you figure out how to use them.
