How do I view the "mature" images?

If you really need poses and references for upcoming art, like myself, then you can not limit yourself to just "safe" images.

So how would I be able to view the "mature" images? Is there something I need to do or click?

It's like, no one reads the other posts or the faq section.

You can't unless you become a privileged member, which you can't become unless one invites you or you prove yourself by making worthwhile contributions to the system.

Well if we contribute to the forums then can we cause i loved danbooru before it went down and now i have to wait to be invited, personally i think its gay but cause i love danbooru i will try to get accepted

How to get invited:

Hint 1: Hang around and make friends with people. Be cool. Be a good poster.

Hint 2: Don't ask how to view "mature" images. Don't ask people to invite you. Don't say you need your hentai fix.

As a note, I meant posting in general, not just on the forum. Pictures and comments.

While it doesn't hurt, I guess, you don't need to become my "friend" or be "cool" or anything like that. Even if you never ever post one thing on the forums, even if I have no idea who you are as a person, I'm going to send an invite if you contribute a good number of good images over a period of time.

I mean, sure, being a dick means I probably won't invite no matter how good your contributions are, but that should be common sense. If you post, invites will come. The fact that the user list (filter on member, sort by post) rarely has 100+post "members" for long means they're obviously getting invited (or spamming pure crap and getting jailed).

My problem is finding new pictures to satisfy Danbooru and I's level of quality. Most of the good pictures I have were already uploaded by someone else on Danbooru. Well, I will try my best!

Rather than trying to hit up the fanart aggregation sites (if that's what you're even doing) and find the best new images -- Mug-G and Albert will beat us to that 90% of the time, as constantly being greeted with "The item was a duplicate" reminds me =P -- I've taken to trying to focus more on the artists who don't seem to get upped by others. Or finding new ones via links pages from existing artists and such.

One thing I've tried to do is, whenever I'm the first one to source and artist and add them to the database, to add it to my feeds/updatescanner lists to check automatically. This way I build up a large group of artists I check get updates on regularly and become familiar with.

Like Albert suggested elsewhere, we have a ginormous database of artists. If they've been sourced, then they've had at least one decent image posted that nobody ever felt the need to delete. If you find some who are to your liking and who seem to be neglected (i.e. you check their site and recent stuff hasn't been upped) you can try to check back with them regularly.

That is what I am doing. I have about artist sites bookmarked for later uploading but I need to check whether they have been cited or not. chances are, they haven't.

i think that the whole idea of the priviliged membership is very smart, brings a whole lot of content back to the page, in a faster pace! its nice to be able to enjoy danbooru once again :).
