If Toyohime's right, this would mark the third time characters from one of the manga have been upgraded to game canon (first being the 3 mischievous fairies, second being Kasen). I hope it happens.

Pretty sure Kosuzu counts. She appeared in HM, after all.

Only to watch the fights along with the other villagers. If you do want to include background characters then Rinnosuke would be another. I don't particularily count background characters as doing anything to the story. They're just there neither adding or subtracting from the story
BAiJR was released 3 days before PoFV. It's a miniscule difference, though.
I think ZUN wanted the release dates for both to be the same and so made it as miniscule as possible. I think 3 days is negligible in terms of considering if she started in the games or print works.
ZUN has already gone on record saying that he's never going to make the Watatsuki's into bosses because having unbeatable bosses goes against his philosophy for game design.
Of course he is ZUN and changes how he feels on a whim all the time, but I wouldn't expect either of the lunarian princesses to show up.

Still doesn't deny the fact that she made her official debut in a printed work.

Technically it's just her sister that would be unbeatable.
Toyohime here is just a really limited version of Yukari with a nebulously defined weapon.

I dunno, I tend to think of Toyohime's combat ability as somewhat similar to Gilgamesh. Her using her main ability similar to Gate of Babylon while her fan takes the role of Ea. That is all just my conjecture though.

Here is exactly where their ablities overlap, as Yukari can do the same exact thing with her gaps. And that's just a really little part of what she can do if you think that she can manipulate boundaries to do stuff that defy any kind of logic. On the other hand, we don't really know what Toyohime is capable of, and just her named ability doesn't say really much (just like in Remilia's or Yuuka's case). For what we know, her "good luck" could be so obscenely great that it makes her immune to everything you throw at her, because you would fail all the time no matter what you do.
Regardless of how strong she is, since LoLK has this medicine that makes you see the future and will allow "us" to defeat those overpowered lunarians, there's a little chance of seeing her.

She can only use her ability to travel great distances which require specific conditions in order activate. According to CiLR she use a fan that is basically a directional nuke and threatens to use it along with her carefree and apathetic demeanor she would follow up on it.
