conte di cavour (azur lane)
コンテ・ディ・カブール(アズールレーン) åŠ å¯Œå°”ä¼¯çˆµ
Azur Lane's personification of the Italian battleship Conte di Cavour, named after Italy's first prime minister, Camillo Benso (the Count of Cavour).
History
The historical battleship served in both World Wars, although she saw no action and was little used in World War I, and supported operations during the Corfu Incident in 1923, before going into reserve. After her first refits, she and her sister ship Giulio Cesare participated in the Battle of Calabria in July 1940, where the latter was lightly damaged by Warspite at a maximum verified range of 24 kilometers. The historical Conte di Cavour was badly damaged when torpedo bombers launched by Illustrious attacked the fleet at Taranto in November 1940 and was deliberately run aground. Repairs for her were never completed by the time of the Italian armistice in 1943. She was captured by the Germans, but they made no efforts to complete her repairs. She was damaged in an Allied air raid in early 1945 and capsized a week later. The historical battleship was eventually scrapped in 1946.
